Published specifications for two machines, plus the arithmetic behind runtime, productivity and refill intervals. Every formula below is written so that you can substitute your own numbers and re-run it — on our machines or on a competitor's.
The specifications are transcribed from our product documentation. The methods are standard engineering arithmetic — not test results. Where a figure is not published by us or by a competitor, this page says so rather than filling the gap with an estimate.

Manufacturers publish voltage and amp-hours. They rarely publish how that becomes hours on the floor. Three steps convert one into the other.
Step 1 — battery energy (Wh) = voltage (V) x capacity (Ah)
Step 2 — usable energy (Wh) = battery energy x depth of discharge x discharge efficiency
Step 3 — runtime (h) = usable energy / average power draw (W)
| Chemistry | Depth of discharge | Discharge efficiency |
|---|---|---|
| Lead-acid | about 80% | about 85% |
| Lithium (LiFePO4) | about 90% | about 95% |
Worked example — A500, 24 V / 100 Ah
Rated productivity is a theoretical maximum, usually deck width multiplied by travel speed. No operator achieves it in a real building, and the gap is predictable.
Rated (m²/h) = cleaning width (m) x travel speed (m/h)
A500: 0.5 m x 4,400 m/h = 2,200 m²/h — the figure in our manual.
| Time loss | Typical effect |
|---|---|
| Turning and repositioning at rack ends | loses 10 to 20% |
| Obstacle diversion around pillars and pallets | loses 10 to 25% in dense racking |
| Solution refills and recovery empties | loses 5 to 15%, higher with large floor areas |
| Operator fatigue over a full shift | loses 10 to 20% on a walk-behind |
The ranges above are typical field outcomes reported across the industry, not measurements we have taken in your building. Combined, they put realistic output at roughly 50 to 70% of rated for a walk-behind in racked warehouses, with the lower end applying to dense racking and frequent refills. Time one real route with a stopwatch before relying on any published figure, ours included.
On most machines the tank runs out before the battery does. The interval is simple arithmetic, and it is often the real limit on shift length.
Tank runtime (h) = solution tank (L) / flow rate (L/min) / 60
| Solution flow | A500 (50 L) | B260R60 (200 L) |
|---|---|---|
| 0.30 L/min — light soil | 2.8 h | 11.1 h |
| 0.45 L/min — standard | 1.9 h | 7.4 h |
| 0.60 L/min — heavy soil | 1.4 h | 5.6 h |
Compare the two limits and take the smaller number. On the A500 at standard flow the tank empties in about 1.9 h while a lithium battery is still good for 2.6 to 3.4 h — so the operator stops to refill, not to recharge. On the B260R60 the 200 L tank outlasts most shifts at any of these flow rates, which is the main practical argument for a ride-on of that size.
A sweeper scrubber states three different widths. They describe three different things, and the largest is not the one that limits your productivity.
| Width | What it measures | Use it to calculate |
|---|---|---|
| Sweeping width | Full span of the side brushes, which extend beyond the body | Debris collection per pass — not scrubbing |
| Cleaning width | Scrubbing footprint of the brush deck underneath | Productivity and pass count — this is the binding number |
| Squeegee width | Water recovery span at the rear | How much water is recovered, not how much is scrubbed |
On the B260R60 the difference between 1,350 mm sweeping width and 900 mm cleaning width is 450 mm of floor that is swept but not scrubbed. On a floor with heavy oil film that strip needs a second pass or a wider brush deck.
Specifications transcribed from Aikerui product documentation for the A500 and B260R60. Formulas are standard electrical and operational arithmetic and are stated in full so they can be checked.
The percentage ranges in Method 2 are industry-typical outcomes rather than measurements taken by us, and are labelled as such. If you need a figure you can rely on for procurement, time a route on your own floor.
