A brushroll end cap — also called a hub cap or roller end cap — seals the end of a cylindrical brush where it mounts on the drive coupling. Its job is to keep water, grit and debris out of the brush core and bearing, and to transfer drive torque into the cylinder. Once the cap cracks or the seal fails, grit reaches the bearing, the brush starts to bind, and the drive motor works harder than it should.
We supply brushroll end caps in the sizes and hub patterns used across roller-deck scrubbers and sweepers. They are a low-cost wear part; replacing them with the brush rather than after a failure is usually the cheaper route. Send your machine model and OEM part number and we will confirm the pattern.
It is the cap that seals the end of a cylindrical (roller) brush where it mounts on the drive coupling. It keeps water and grit out of the brush core and bearing, and carries drive torque into the cylinder.
Look for a cracked cap, a missing or hardened seal, or grit packed around the bearing. Symptoms on the machine are a binding roller, a whining drive, or the brush running off-centre.
Yes, if the caps show wear or the seal has hardened. Caps are inexpensive and a failed seal will destroy the new brush's bearing in a short time.
Send us your machine model or the part dimensions and we will quote factory-direct pricing — 30-50% below dealer rates, with OEM and private-label options.
