An industrial floor sweeper removes dry debris — dust, packaging, grit, swarf and light rubbish — without using water. That is the whole point of the category: if you scrub a floor that is covered in loose dust, the water turns it into mud and the recovery tank fills with sludge before you have cleaned anything. Sweeping first is not a preference, it is the correct order of operations.

Every machine uses a main broom plus one or two side brushes to pull debris out of corners into the broom path, with a dust filtration system and a hopper sized for the shift. We manufacture the side brushes and main brooms in-house, so the consumables you replace later come from the same production line as the machine.
If your floor has both dry debris and a film of oil or grease, you need an industrial sweeper scrubber combination rather than a sweeper alone — one pass sweeps, the next scrubs and recovers water. For floors that are only ever dusty, a plain industrial floor sweeping machine is the cheaper and simpler choice, with fewer components to maintain.
