• Batteries: 1 year prorated or 6 months full (lead-acid); 2-3 years (lithium)
• Wear parts (brushes, squeegees, hoses): Not covered — these are consumables
• Labor: Dealer warranties include labor. Factory-direct warranties typically cover parts only, with remote support.

Dealer vs Factory-Direct Warranties

Dealer warranties (Tennant, Nilfisk, Karcher) include on-site labor through local service networks — but you pay for this in the 30-50% higher purchase price. Factory-direct warranties (Aikerui) cover parts and provide remote technical support. The cost difference typically covers 5-10 years of potential out-of-warranty repairs.

Red Flags in Warranty Terms

Watch for: (1) Prorated battery coverage — you pay 50%+ of replacement after year 1, (2) 'Normal wear and tear' exclusion that's used to deny almost everything, (3) Requirements to use OEM-only parts or void the warranty, (4) Shipping costs not covered for warranty returns.
